Ethiopia West Arsi
Daye Bensa · West Arsi, Ethiopia · Washed · G1
A washed Ethiopian from West Arsi, produced by Daye Bensa and selected for its bright, expressive character.
In the cup, citrus and stone fruit come through first, followed by distinct floral notes that linger as the coffee cools. The washed process gives the cup a clean, defined quality, allowing its acidity and floral notes to come through with clarity.
What we like about this coffee is its balance. It has the brightness and lift we look for in an Ethiopian, but enough fruit and sweetness to keep it from feeling overly delicate. The floral character becomes more apparent toward the finish, giving the cup a little more depth with every sip.
It works beautifully both as espresso and filter. At our branches, you can enjoy West Arsi either way. Let us show you how the same coffee changes depending on how it’s brewed, or take a bag home and explore it yourself.
A coffee for when you want something bright, clean, expressive, and one that rewards taking your time with it.
