Brazil Arara
Brazil Arara
Carmo Coffee · Fazenda Irmãs Pereira · Carmo de Minas, Brazil · Natural · Arara
From Fazenda Irmãs Pereira in Carmo de Minas, part of Carmo Coffee, this natural-process Arara comes from sisters Maria Valéria and Maria Rogéria Pereira, whose family has been cultivating coffee on the farm since the early 1970s.
Arara is a variety we particularly enjoy for the way it brings sweetness and structure to the cup. Here, the natural process gives the coffee a rich, rounded character, with notes of dark chocolate, brown sugar, and almond. It is familiar and comforting, but still has enough definition to keep the cup interesting.
This is the kind of coffee we reach for every day: full-bodied, sweet, and easy to settle into. As an espresso, it has the depth to drink beautifully on its own, while its chocolate and brown sugar sweetness carries naturally into milk.
Brazil Arara is now in the hoppers at our stores as one of our origins in rotation. Enjoy it straight or with milk at our branches, or take a bag home and make it part of your everyday coffee ritual.
